Inez H. Montoya, 96, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Austwell, Texas on April 20, 1924. He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Francisca Montoya; and his son Jose Luis Montoya.
Left to cherish his memory are five generations, including his wife Socorro S. Montoya; children Lydia Jarrott, Oralia Womack, Juan Antonio Montoya, Bertha Montoya, Maria Montoya Hohenstein; Jose I. Montoya, Adan Montoya, and Juan Pablo Montoya; siblings Adan Montoya, Jesus Montoya, and Rosa Montoya; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 9 to 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at San Pedro Cemetery. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. (956) 350-8485
