Emigdio IsaÃas Galván, 79, of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 5, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents Abdon Galvan and Concepcion Galvan.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Tomasa Galvan; children Karina M. Recio, Jorge O. Galvan, and Cindy Y. Martinez; siblings Elvia Partida, Santiago Galvan, Adela Rodriguez and Juan Galvan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 1 to 9 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Church service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 9 AM at Hossana World Changers (2400 El Jardin Heights Rd., Brownsville). Burial will be held at 12 noon at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
