Pablo Rubio, 32, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on April 18, 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Eulogio Rubio; maternal grandmother, Esperanza Gamboa and his paternal uncle, Pablo Rubio.
Pablo was a hardworking and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and helping others. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Beyra G. Rubio; two daughters, Shalbie and Saleen Rubio; his parents, Guadalupe Rubio and Maria Luisa Cantu Rubio; paternal grandmother, Ninfa Rubio; his siblings, Jose Guadalupe (Gracie) Rubio Jr., Belinda (Juan) Alaniz and Rosalinda (Rodolfo) Reyes; his father-in-law, Juan Jose Huerta and his mother-in-law, Mary Huerta; his three brother-in-laws, Juan Jose (Clarissa) Huerta Jr., Enrique (Claudia) Huerta and Edgar (Ana) Huerta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID-19 disaster declaration, Brownsville City and Cameron County guidelines and ordinances, limited occupancy rules apply to all gathering including at the funeral parlor and cemetery. A limit of 10 people is under effect and will remain until the quarantine is lifted.
