Eubalda L. Serna

Eubalda L. Serna, 74, of Brownsville, TX went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Houston, TX. Eubalda was born on October 2, 1945 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

She is preceded in death  by her parents, Maria Luiza Garza Loza and Andres Loza; two brothers, Mario Loza and Arnoldo Loza.

Eubalda was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed cooking, helping others and above all spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jose Angel Serna; four daughters, Aracely (Roberto) Serna Rangel, Norma Alicia Serna, Maria G. (Juan M.) Serna Pizaña and Liliana Serna Lopez; eight siblings, Antonio Loza, Teresa Sanchez, Jesus Loza, Graiela Landeros, Isabel Espinoza, Juan Loza and Olga García; six granddaughters and five grandsons; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 11 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Park.

Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory – Flower Shop, 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78526.  (956) 350-8485

Due to COVID-19 disaster declaration, Brownsville City and Cameron County guidelines and ordinances, limited occupancy rules apply to all gathering including at the funeral parlor and cemetery. A limit of 10 people is under effect and will remain until the quarantine is lifted.

    Mis condolencias a toda la familia .por la perdida de (Uva) pido a Dios pronta resignacion para mi gran amiga Graciela Landeros y toda la familia de (UVA )una gran persona y ser humano .
