Martha I. Villasana Castaño,38, of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born on February 17, 1982 in Tula, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Juana Castaño Pecina and Lorenzo Villasana Martinez.
Martha was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend. She enjoyed the beach, praising the Lord and attending church, taking care of her rose garden and above all spending time with her family.
Martha was preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo Villasana Martinez.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Octavio Rodriguez; her two children, Alexis Jacqueline Villasana and Lorenzo Antonio Villasana; her mother, Juana Castaño Pecina; three siblings, Roberto Carlos Villasana Castaño, Maria Guadalupe Villasana Castaño and Juan Angel Villasana Castaño.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020, from 1:00 to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. All services will conclude at the end of the evening.

Martha nació el 17 de febrero de 1982 en Tula, Tamaulipas, México, hija de Juana Castaño Pecina y Lorenzo Villasana MartÃnez.
Marta era una devota esposa, madre, hija, tÃa y amiga. Disfrutaba de la playa, alababa al Señor y asistÃa a la iglesia, cuidaba su jardÃn de rosas y, sobre todo, pasaba tiempo con su familia. Martha fue precedida en la muerte por su padre, Lorenzo Villasana MartÃnez. A su memoria, Octavio RodrÃguez, le queda por apreciar su memoria; sus dos hijos, Alexis Jacqueline Villasana y Lorenzo Antonio Villasana; su madre, Juana Castaño Pecina; tres hermanos, Roberto Carlos Villasana Castaño, MarÃa Guadalupe Villasana Castaño y Juan Ãngel Villasana Castaño.
La visitación se llevará a cabo el jueves 12 de marzo de 2020, de 1:00 a 9:00 PM con un servicio de oración a las 7:00 PM en Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
