Esmeralda M. Garza

Esmeralda M. Garza, 56, of Brownsville, TX entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Esmeralda was born on April 20, 1963 in Brownsville, TX to Elida Barrientes and Antonio Moreno.

Esmeralda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed praising the Lord, traveling, the beach and above all, spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Moreno.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Noe Garza; her mother, Elida Alvarado; three daughters, Ennie L. (Randy M.) Vojvoda, Eliset Garza, Esmeralda (Joseph T.) Ross; three grandchildren, Noe A. Vojvoda, Ezekiel M. Garza and Jett T. Ross; one brother, Ruben Alvarado Jr.; four sisters, Leticia Rivera, Enedelia Coronado, Ruby Lee Huerta and Elida Coronado.

Visitation with family is scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2020, from 1:00 to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. All services will conclude at the end of the evening.
