David Lynn Hartley

David Lynn Hartley, 71, of Brownsville, TX was called home by the Lord on Thursday, February 27, 2020.  David was born on November 20, 1948 in Arcadia, IN to Mildred Landes and Clifton Hartley.

Mr. Hartley was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.  He was a hardworking man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved traveling, trying new foods, the beach and spending time with family and friends.  His memory will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Clifton Hartley; and one brother, Ralph Hartley.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia I. Hartley; his daughter, Dalyne Bowers; his son, Aaron Hartley; six grandchildren, Zachary Coale, Morgan Bowers, Quentin Hartley, Abigail Hartley, David Hartley and Isabella Hartley; three great-grandchildren, Lily McNew, Zaviar Coale and Luna Hartley; one sister, Barbara Roberts; the Perea-Cantu family, the Perea-Almanza family, the Isaacsoh-Perea family, the Cano-Cosio family, Genesis-Perea and Kayla N. Perea; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Located at 657 Springmart Blvd. Brownsville, TX 78526.

Service will be ministered by Gary Meeker, David’s long life friend.
