Juan M. Cardenas

Juan M. Cardenas, 62, of Immokalee, FL who resided in Brownsville, TX for the past two years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, TX surrounded by his loving family. Juan was born on October 05, 1957 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, MX to Paula Ramirez and Monserrato Cardenas Rivera.

Mr. Cardenas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with his family and helping others at all times. He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paula and Monserrato Cardenas; his grandson, Rogelio Flores Jr.; and his brother, Monserrato Cardenas.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, San Juana Cardenas; two daughters, Perla Yesenia Cardenas (Rogelio Flores) and Claribel Cardenas ( Ramon Juarez); one son, Juan Manuel Cardenas Jr. (Janie Martinez); eight grandchildren, Alessandra Flores, Thalia Flores, Alondra Flores, Bianca A. Juarez, Juliana Juarez, Marissa Juarez, Mia R. Juarez, Iliana Cardenas and Idalia Cardenas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2020 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville, TX.  Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Brownsville, TX.  Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
