Elisabeth Hernandez, 41, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jose Luis Hernandez Jr.; parents Antonio and Elvira Rivera; children Tony Hernandez, Jaquelyn Hernandez (Jose Rojas), Johanna Hernandez; grandchildren Jazlyn and Jionni Mendez; siblings Veronica Rivera (Gabriel Berrios), Sandra Soto Rivera (Jose B. Soto Jr.), Elvira Rivera (Juan Barrera), Nancy Rivera (Francisco Ayala), and Patricia Rivera (Gabriel Trevino). Also surviving numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 1 to 9 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a chapel service held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at 2 PM at Guillen Community Cemetery.
