Maria del Socorro Ramos, 51, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on January 6, 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Gustavo J. Ramos.
Left to cherish her memory is her children Kimberly (Xavier) Campos, Katherine (Gustavo) Ramirez; parents Bruno and Imelda Cedillo; siblings Sandra Flores, Judy Seagren, Bruno Cedillo Jr., and Alicia Montoya; grandchildren Gustavo E. Ramirez, Joel Campos, Xiomara Campos, Elias N. Ramirez, and Nikolaos Ramirez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. (1200 E. Lincoln St., Brownsville) Burial will follow at 3 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Love you my friend…for ever and ever
Mary! She was so positive and practical. And strong. And family oriented. A very good person. I am glad I had the chance to know her. My sincere sympathy to the family.
A wonderful friend always smiling. Will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
She was a credit to the “League” and a treasure to the community with her dedication to service. It is a loss to us, and the community at large. We will miss our “sister in service.”
