Juanita R. Martinez, 67, of Brownsville, TX went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was born on March 26, 1952 in Brownsville, TX.
Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Gilberto Martinez Balderama; her mother, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez; and her sister, Lucy Rodriguez.
Left to cherish her memory are her step-father, Monserrato Padilla Sr.; her four children, Lucy M. Martinez, Laura M. Martinez, Gilberto Martinez Jr. and Ulises Gil Martinez; four siblings, Frank Patlan, Monserrato Padilla Jr., Maria Del Refugio Esparza and Francisco Esparza; four grandchildren, Omar Stambaugh, Samantha Jane Banda, Laura Jane Martinez and Alexis Arriana Lozano.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 1 to 9 p.m. with Prayer service at 7 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. All services to conclude on Wednesday.
