Elida De La Garza Villarreal De Guajardo, 85, of Brownsville, Texas devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Guajardo; parents Rodolfo and Antonia De La Garza; and her brother Leonardo V. (Esther Ramirez) De La Garza.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Adoralida Guajardo De La Garza; siblings Consuelo (Julian) De La Garza Puente; nieces and nephews Alicia, Gloria, Maribel, Leonardo, Esther, Juan Rodolfo, Liliana De La Garza, Alma, Daniel, Julia, and Veronica Puente.
Visitation Will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 2 to 10 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
