Irma G. Mendez, 62, of Brownsville, Texas devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on December 15, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on March 5, 1957. She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe Gonzalez and Herminia Gonzalez; siblings Mario Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez and Carlos Gonzalez; and her niece Maria De Lourdes.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Julián Méndez; children Lorraine (Arturo) Méndez De La Cruz, Irma Méndez; siblings Ramiro, (Arminda) González, MarÃa Guadalupe (Roberto+) MartÃnez, Mario+ (MarÃa Gloria) González, Irene (Pedro) Casares, Raúl+ (Nancy) González, Juan (MarÃa) González, Norma (Francisco) Solorzano, Antonio González, Jorge Luis (Margarita) González, and Carlos+ González; grandchildren Juan Carlos Moran Jr., Andrés Julián Moran, Ãngel Moran, Alexander Jordán Galarza; great grandchildren Miguel Ãngel Moran, Marilyn Daiany Moran and Oscar Manuel López.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at 2 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
