Abelardo Garcia Galvan, 71, of Brownsville, TX went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Abelardo is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Garcia.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Orfa Esther Gracia Garcia; his mother, Carmen Galvan de Garcia; five children, Jose A. Garcia, Andres (Reyna) Garcia, Marta Patricia (Roberto) Guajardo, Jesus Garcia, Claudia (Simon) San Miguel; seventeen grandchildren, Jose, Chris, Mark, Stephanie, Paulina, Justin, Kendra, Daniel, Andrea, Rhianna, Jessica, Joe, Jesus, Ximena, Clarissa, Simon and Abraham; one furry son, Gumball as well as numerous family members, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be he held on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 1:00 to 9:00 PM with a prayer service being held at 7 PM, and Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 – 9:00 p.m at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Chapel funeral ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow Guillen Community Cemetery.
