Maria Luisa Ramos, 97, of Los Fresnos, Texas, loving mother, caring grandmother, great grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and loved ones. She was born in Gregory, Texas on March 20, 1922.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Ramos; her son Felipe Ramos and her daughter Emma Rosa Morua.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Herlinda Flores, Hortencia Ramos, Aurora Ramos, Fidela (Enrique) Nunez, Jose (Rosa) Ramos, Rosalinda Rios, Maria Eugenia (Fidel) Perez, Veronica (Robert) Sanchez, Maria Guadalupe (Luis) Pena, and Raquel (Cormak) Mohan; 39 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM At Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2 PM at Lord of Divine Mercy Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Service are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop.
