Antonio Banda Garcia, 72, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Trinidad and Alejandro Garcia; sisters Dolores Montoya and Luz Garcia and his brother in law Alfredo. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Irma Garcia; children Sandra Garcia, Norma (Lorenzo) Garcia, Antonio Jr. (MarÃa) GarcÃa; siblings Narciso GarcÃa, Alejandro (Hortencia) GarcÃa, Paula de Bolado, Guadalupe (Yolanda) GarcÃa, Margarito (Irma) GarcÃa, Raúl GarcÃa, Facunda GarcÃa; grandchildren Joey (Amanda) GarcÃa, Carlos (Tiffiny) GarcÃa, Christian GarcÃa, Lorenzo Antonio Garcia, Aylin Adamari Garcia; great grandchild Johan E. Nalani GarcÃa; brother in law Jose Luis (Belinda) Duarte; sister in law Virginia Centeno; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will like to thank the nurse Jacob and Edwin and Sister Carmen for their care and prayers. Also, Reverend Vidal Garza, his family and the congregation of Templo Bethel Asambleas de Dios for their prayers and support.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. On Wednesday, October 23, 2019 there will be a chapel service at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop.
