Ermila Alcaraz Sauceda ,82, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, entered into eternal rest on Sunday October 13, 2019 at home.
She is preceded in death by husband, Adan Sauceda, father and mother, Enrique and Antonia Alcaraz, brothers Felipe and Paulino Alcaraz and grandson Hector M. Orozco.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters and sons: Adan Sauceda, Mary S. Olvera, Hilda S. Orozco, Gracie S. Garcia, Alejo Sauceda and Antonia S. Martinez. Grandchildren: Rolando Sauceda, Jaclyn O. Ramirez, Debbie Olvera, J. Frank Orozco Jr., Ruby Martinez, Ruben Garcia III, Iris Olvera, Laura Martinez, Jessie Martinez, Gracie Garcia and Adrian Martinez; and 14 great grandchildren. We are gathering to honor a hard-working woman that exuded kindness to everyone she encountered. She devoted all of her time with a strong family upbringing, went above and beyond in work settings and would always display acts of kindness to others. We are paying respects to an amazing woman, that conveyed a big heart, care for others, and helped shape a family for a better tomorrow.Â
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10 am at San Eugenio de Mazenod Catholic Church with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
