Jose Armando Garza, 57, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on October 8, 2019 at City Hospital at White Rock surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Garza was born in Brownsville, Texas on April 4, 1962.
He is preceded in death by his parents Primitiva Castorena de Garza and Enrique Garza; one brother, Mauricio Noe Garza.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maria L. Garza; his two children Jose Armando Garza Jr. and Rosana Garza; five siblings, Enrique Garza, Juan De Dios Garza, Graciela Zapata, Maria Del Rosario Gomez and Sandra Alcantara; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
Chapel funeral ceremony will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop.

My deepest condolences to the Garza family my prayers are with them. Although I didn’t know Joe for very long the short time I did know him it was apparent that he was a great person willing to give a helping without hesitation. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of our Lord.
