Maria Dolores Gracia, 73, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2019 at Valley Regional medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on November 24, 1945.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gaspar De Leon and Rosa Sierra De Leon; son Juan Gracia III; siblings Delfina (Humberto) Cisneros, Antonio (Esteban) Davila, Jesus De Leon, Rosa De Leon, Carlos (Rosa) De Leon, and Gaspar (Paola) De Leon.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Juan Gracia Jr.; children Yvonne (Rene) Lopez, Sarah (Sean Salais) Gracia; siblings Josefina Olivia Gonzalez, Maria Elena De Leon, Guadalupe (Juan) Caballero, Matilde Martinez, Lourdes (Jose) Medina, Evangelina (Manuel) Alcala, Humberto (Ninfa) De Leon, Lorenzo (Juanita) De Leon, Jose Angel (Nelly) De Leon; grandchildren Valerie (Pete) Reta, Jewel Gracia Jr., Juan Manuel Lopez, Lundyn Cuellar, and Gia Cuellar; great grandchildren Abrianna Alfaro, Keith Andrew Reta, and Tequilla.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, September 30, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11 AM at Our Lord of Divine Mercy Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop.
