Claudio Ibarra Perez, 82, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents Rafael Perez and Maria Ibarra Perez; brothers Juan and Mardonio Perez.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Irma Perez; children Hector (Maria) Perez, Betty (Hector) Ibarra, Nereyda (Rodolfo) Mejia, Patty (Armando) Vazquez, and Claudia (Roberto) Celvera; 14 grandchildren Mayra, Hugo, Yajaira, Lorelly, Claudio, Jocelyn, Yanelly, Yialexa, Rodolfo, Ilse, Armando David, Griselda, Keyla, and Camila; 15 great-grandchildren; and his sisters Sara Rodriguez and Olga Espinoza.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 12 noon to 9 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Chapel services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 12:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be held at 2 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop.
