Margarita Cruz, 90, of Brownsville, Texas devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Rio at Fox Hollow surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Ramon Cruz; son Reynaldo Cruz; parents Juan Rodriguez and Josefa Carrizales de Rodriguez; siblings Rosa Orozco, Pedro Rodriguez, and Amador Rodriguez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Ricardo (Irma) Cruz, Hermelinda (Enrique) Martinez, Rosalinda (Martin) Sandoval, Roberto Cruz; siblings Juanita Zuniga, Josefina Rodriguez and Lucelia Duenas; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will like to thank CIMA Hospice and Rio at Fox Hollow Staff Members for their love and support throughout this past month; we are greatly appreciative for all they have done along the way.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Chapel service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be at 11 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Martin Sandoval, Joey Martinez, Rubén Martinez, Ralph Orozco, Raúl Hernandez and Danny Zuniga. Honorary Pallbearers: Ricardo Cruz ,Roberto Cruz, Enrique Martinez and Gino Flores.
