James L. Moody, 67, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in San Benito, Texas on December 9, 1951 to Edward “Tito†Moody and Maria Magdalena Garcia. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Isabel Moody, children James (Arianna Martinez) Moody, Hope Moody; grandchildren Ember Rios, Olivia Moody, Oliver Moody; siblings Mr. & Mrs. Ed & Cecilia Moody, Mary Lynn Moody and Jean Moody.
Jim was a life long avid fisherman, fishing all his favorite and secret fishing holes. A great man, husband, father, and grandfather. Devoted to his beloved Isabel for over 40 years.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. (956) 350-8485
