Rodolfo Perez, 51, of Brownsville, Texas, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather passed away on July 6, 2019 in Brownsville, Texas. He was born on July 28, 1967 to Jorge Perez and Esther Araiza.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Concepcion Araiza, father Jorge Perez; brothers Omar Capetillo and Jose Carlos Perez; his aunt Elvira Araiza. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Catalina Perez, their children Julio Cesar (Annette) Perez, Rodolfo Perez Jr. (Pricilla Montejo), Cindy Esther Pérez (Santos Olivarez). His mother Esther Araiza; siblings George (Iselle) Pérez, Elva Yolanda Capetillo, Emilio (Juany) Pérez, Dahlia Trevino, Prudencio Capetillo, April RodrÃguez, Reymundo Capetillo, Jessica Pérez, Reynaldo Capetillo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 12 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Julio Pérez, Rodolfo Pérez Jr., Reymundo Capetillo, Tony Muñoz, Rolando Pérez, Emilio Pérez, George Pérez, and Reynaldo Capetillo

My sincere condolences to the Perez family. Michael and I had known Rudy for over 26 years. We were friends to Rudy. Were still in disbelief that his is gone. Never in a million years did we think he was going to leave us. We always thought he was going to be around forever but I guess God had other plans. I know were going to miss hanging around him and hearing all his stories about life. Sometimes Michael and I look at our phones waiting for you to call us but we know that’s never going to happen. Rudy were going to miss you. You were our best friend. May you rest in peace brother.
