Benito Hernández, 91, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2019 at his residence surrounded by loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on February 12, 1928.
He is preceded in death by his wife Serapia R. Hernández; parents Francisca and Benito Hernández Sr.; and his brother Luis Hernandez.
Left to cherish his memory his children Dora Maria (Mariano+) Mejia, Benito (Paula) Hernández III and Rubén (Sylvia) Hernández; siblings Jesús Hernández, Domingo Hernández, Elvira Hernández, and Francisca (Luis Carlos) Reyna, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 1 to 9 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
