Juan Pablo Leyva Vilano

Juan Pablo Leyva Vilano, 46, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on February 25, 1973.
He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Leyva, Maria Victoria Vilano-Leyva and his sister Norma L. Leyva Flores. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 30 years Margarita Diaz-Leyva, children Dulce Cavazos (Erik); Juan Pablo Leyva (Brenda); and Aida Torres (Efren); and his 7 grandchildren, he will be greatly missed. Juan Pablo will always be remembered for being a happy and caring dad, brother, uncle, and grandfather. His favorite musicians are Beto Quintanilla and Vicente Fernandez. His family will always remember him for his many jokes and famous phrases like “Ay Ama! ¡Como te quiere mi Apa!â€
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 12, 2019 from 1:00 – 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop.
