Mercedes (Torres) Rios, 88, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Los Fresnos, Texas on October 02, 1930.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Rios; 2 sons, Joe David and Abelardo Rios. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Isabel Alvarado; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory-Flower Shop. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. 5722e3
