Emma R. Morua, 79, of Los Fresnos, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX surrounded by loving family. She was born on May 17, 1939.
She is preceded in death by her father Jesus Ramos and her brother Felipe Ramos. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Domingo Morua Sr., a son, Domingo Morua Jr.; mother Maria Luisa Ramos; grandchildren Joe Morua, Jennifer Lee Morua-Perez and Jessica Morua; 11 great grandchildren and 9 sisters and 1 brother.
Emma R. Morua, was a devoted catholic. Always there for all her family when needed. Her memory will live on through her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed but not forgotten.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 9 PM with Holy Rosary recited at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop. A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 04, 2019 at 2PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, Texas.

Our sincere condolences to Domingo and family on the loss of wife and mother Emma.. She was my cousin and we have fond memories we shared growing up. She always had a ready smile and greeted you with such warmth. We know she will be missed. May God give you all the strength to sustain you through this sad time.
