Concepcion “Connie†D. Garza, 77, of Brownsville, TX, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest Monday, February 4, 2019, at Valley Baptist Harlingen surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville on August 15, 1941.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Severa De La Fuente and a grandchild: Keanna CoriRae Tobias.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Jamie De La Fuente, Sofia Garza, and Maria Navarro. Child: Gloria (David) Tobias, Nieces: Audra, Angela, and Abby. Grandchildren: Michael (Kassandra), Jacob (Bernice), Sean, Caleb, Angelo, and Jesse. Last but not least, her beloved great-grandchildren: Sebastian and Kamille, who will miss their “GG.â€
Connie will be remembered as a strong, loving, and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to do arts and crafts and watch sports with her grandsons. She adored spending as much time as possible with her great grandchildren. She leaves a hole in our hearts and will be forever be missed. She lives on in our memories.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 4 pm – 7 pm with a prayer service at 5 pm.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. 657 Springmart Blvd. 956-350-8485. �
