Marilyn worked for Brownsville ISD for 20 years and San Benito ISD for 9 years as the Food Service Manager, where she was respected and beloved by all of her peers. She also spent several years as a realtor. Marilyn lived a life of selfless service always putting others needs before hers, volunteering and giving of her time to those in need. She was a beautiful person full of love and had a passion for life that was indescribable. Her presence lit up the room when she walked in and always brought joy to all of those around her. Everyone who knew Marilyn will always remember her infectious smile, always cheerful attitude, and great sense of humor. She loved to cook, dance, and spending time with her friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
