Alberto Coronado Jr.

Alberto Coronado Jr., 65, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2018 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on November 25, 1952. He is preceded in death by his parents Alberto P. Coronado, Juanita Cantu Coronado, daughter Lisa Ann Munivez, and his brother Benito Coronado.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Yolanda Coronado; children Alberto Coronado III and Norma Molina; siblings Carlos, Joe and Rosie Coronado; grandchildren Jordan, Rene, Krystal, Eddie, Bobby, Giovanni, Gabriel, and April; great-grandchildren Audrey, Matthew, Isaac, Aidan, Caleb, Leilani, Mason and Penny.

Alberto was very committed man, not only to the love and care to his family but also to his second family at GMS of 32 years. He was admired by many and was the type of man who went above and beyond for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a dedicated husband who showed his love for his beloved wife, dancing the night away and enjoying the company of his close and dearest friends. For those who saw him day in and day out, will always remember him by his ‘’where are you going’’ and ‘’be careful’’. This will be a void no one will ever fill.

Visitation will be scheduled on October 19, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
