Roberto Valdez Rocha, 76, of Brownsville, Texas devoted brother, uncle and great uncle entered into eternal rest on October 8, 2018, at his residence surrounded by loving family. He is preceded in death by brother in law Francisco Hinojosa; parents Maria V. Rocha and Felix Rocha; and his siblings Ricardo Rocha, Arturo Barrera, Felix Rocha, Ninfa Culver and Viola Gant.
Left to cherish his memory his sisters Rosa Hinojosa, Juanita (Jose) Garcia and Rubia (Tom) Rocha; brothers Santos (Rita) Rocha, Rey Rocha, Arturo (Mireya) Rocha and Juan Jose (Susan) Garcia; nieces and nephews: Nora (Ruben) Gracia, Frank (Nidia) Hinojosa, Rodney (Lily) Norma (Ryan) Cuddigan and numerous more nieces, nephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop. There will be a chapel service on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
