Elida Ybarra, 79 of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, entered into enter rest Thursday, September 27, 2018 in McAllen, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Perlita, Texas on October 1, 1938. Elida was preceded in death by her parents Ynes Ybarra and Refugia De Luna Ybarra, her husband Jose Amaro Ramirez and her siblings Roberto Salazar, Alberto Salazar and Cecilia Ybarra. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda L. Bustamante, Daniel Ramirez and Arturo Ramirez and her brother Ynes Ybarra, Jr., and sisters Consuelo Campos, Beatriz Puga and Hilda Ybarra and several grand children and great-grandchildren.
Elida was a generous, loving and caring woman and a phenomenal cook. She was kind to everyone she met and was always there to help and support her family and friends
