Maria Guadalupe Barrientos, 77, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at her residence surrounded by loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel Galan and Francisca Galan Ramirez; her husband Marcos Barrientos Mata; sons Ignacio and Manuel Galan; and her brother Santiago Galan.
Left to cherish her memory is her children Benito Galan, Jesus Cancino, Marcos Barrientos Jr., Primitivo Barrientos, Manuel Barrientos, Irma Perez, Olga Zuniga, Julian Barrientos, Julia Cantu, Haida Mirella Perez; siblings Manuel Galan, Carmen Vasquez, Hermelinda Almanza, and Francisco Galan. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members.
Visitation Will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Chapel service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
