Marilee Ezequiel


Marilee Ezequiel, 73, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her residence surrounded by loving family. She was born in Honduras on November 26, 1944.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lowell James And Audrey Isabelle Tatum; siblings Anita Tatum and Nender McNeil Tatum.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Robert S. Ezequiel; children Lila Ezequiel, Mayble (Carlos) Urcina, Pennie (Randall) Dickerson, Orlen Martinez (Daniel), Tonny Ezequiel (Maria) and Erwin Ezequiel (Larissa); grandchildren Hanrick, Mayble, and Lenna Ezequiel; siblings Faye Flores, Alrick, David, Isabel, Annlee, Wilson, and Heby Tatum. Also surviving numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted wife, caring and loving mother and grandmother and loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed watching The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune with her husband. Her passions were word search, puzzles, sewing and gardening. She was a very easy-going person. Didn’t have much to say but was always there to do whatever it took to protect her Loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a chapel service held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
