Estela S. Ramos, 71, of Brownsville, Texas devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by loving family.
She is preceded in death by her son Rene A. Ramos; sister Evangelina S. Valdez, and her grandson Jacob E. Saenz.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Ramiro V. Ramos; children Blanca E. Saenz, Ramiro Ramos Jr., Cynthia A. Ramos; siblings Olga Vargas, Raymundo Silva, David Silva, and Esther Ruedas; grandchildren Jalexandrea C. Ramos, Jarred A. Saenz, and Nicolas Ramos.
She was a strong, kind, funny, and smart person. A very hospitable host always ready to welcome anyone into her home con pan de dulce y café. Always made sure her family was taken care of. Whether it was a word of advice, or clean clothes on their back or always a full belly. She loved her husband and her children with heart and devotion. She cherished her grandchildren with so much love. Family was so important to her she will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a chapel service held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

    Ramiro Ramos and family, it’s in times like these that we can’t find words to comfort the loss of your dear beloved one. But my deepest condolences to all the Ramos family and think of her thru all the wonderful memories she had with y’all. May your wife Estela, mother, sibling and dear friend Rest In Peace. We don’t say good-by but till we meet again.
