Ramon “Ray†Morales, Jr., 38, of Edinburg, Texas devoted, husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest on July 28, 2018 at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Ray was born August 20, 1979, in Brownsville, Texas to Evangelina and Ramon Morales. He attended Hanna High in Brownsville and served as manager at Red Lobster for many years, a job that he loved so much. He enjoyed football, Dallas Cowboys being his favorite team. He enjoyed playing “Texas Hold Em†with family and friends and loved being outdoors barbequing and going to the beach. Ray enjoyed being with his family and all of his friends, he will be greatly missed by all of us. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann Linville-Morales, his children, Angela Marie Morales and Lucas Alejandro Morales, his parents, Evangelina and Ramon Morales. He is also survived by his siblings Rebecca Morales, Christina Morales-Garcia, Benjamin Morales, Melissa Anderson, Norma Gracia, Yolanda Morales, and Erika Velasquez. Ray’s life will be celebrated on August 1, 2018 with visitation from 3 to 9:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm, Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78526. Dallas Cowboys attire to honor Ray.

    RIP my friend. I remember many childhood memories when we used to hang out by your house or by Rockwell just many good memories of a good friend. Watch over your family you left behind and like the saying says we will meet one day again from your friend:

    My condolences, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Raymond through my brother Marky Villarreal, they were friends in Olivera Middles School. I will always Remember him and his smile. I am deeply saddened to hear he is gone.
