Manuel Aguirre Jr., 76, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2018 at his residence surrounded by loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Aguirre Cazares and Celia Basaldua; his son Juan Manuel Aguirre Garcia; and siblings Maria Elena Aguirre, Juan Antonio Aguirre, Jesus Aguirre and Rodolfo Aguirre. He was a kind, noble, hardworking, pacifist. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Esperanza G. Aguirre; children Esperanza (Alberto Jr.) Martinez, Laura Aguirre, Patricia Aguirre, and Maria G. (Fidencio S. Rosas) Aguirre; grandchildren Jesus Pecina Jr., Johnny Reyes, Juan Manuel Pecina, Victor Manuel Aguirre, Leslie (Joe) Gonzalez, Ashlie Martinez, and Vanessa Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a chapel service on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Guillen Community Cemetery.
