Victoria (Rodriguez) Zorola


Victoria R. Zorola of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest May 29, 2018, as a resident at The Rio at Fox Hollow. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on November 13, 1922.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Simon and Eulalia Rodriguez, son Jose Pedro (Joe Pete) Zorola, and great-grandson Nicholas Norman. Left to cherish her memory are her four brothers and sisters; Juanita Rivera, Lydia Lopez, Herminia Elizondo and Jose Pedro Rodriguez, 9 grandchildren; 13 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Victoria R. Zorola best known by family and friends as “Vicky†was an honorable friend, loving sister, caring mother and inspiring grandmother, who will be greatly missed. All that knew her would say that Vicky was a very strong woman and always got her way. She will always have a special place in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485 There will be a chapel service held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
