Oscar Ernesto Maury, 63, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2018 at Sunshine Haven Special Care Facility surrounded by loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hermilo and Esther Maury; siblings Carlos, Manuel and Perla Maury. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Susana Maury; children Vanessa Maury (Felipe Lerma), Oscar A. Maury (Jesenia Mendez-Maury); grandchildren Nailea, Raven Lerma, Bella Luna Maury and Aaliyah Lerma. Oscar was a very hardworking and very honest man. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and siblings. He was a very protective man and always wanted the best for us. We’ll miss it a lot.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 1:00 to 9 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
