Cheryl Lynn Garza, 49, of Brownsville, Texas devoted mother, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Brownsville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Garza and Alfredo Garza Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her children Jose Torres Jr., Justin (Erika) Torres, Shane Travis Valdez; siblings Alfredo Garza III, Nora Castro, and Ruben Garza.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485

While it is still a shock, we are here for you. I hate to sound so cliche, but she is now free from her emotional and physical pain.
Heartbreak for some is hard to bear and although many do not believe, I do believe we can die of a broken heart.
