Santiago (John) Barrios, 57, of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family on Friday, January 19th, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who will be forever loved and missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Rafael Barrios and is survived by his wife Martha Barrios, daughter Rebecca Barrios and granddaughter Kira Barrios; mother, Aurora Barrios (Cayetano Martinez); sisters, Maria Barrios, Maggie Hernandez, Lucy Caldera (Alvaro); brothers, Chris Barrios (Dee Dee), Rafael Barrios (Cindy), Martin Barrios (Angie), Rene Barrios, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held for John on Wednesday, January 24th from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
