Trinidad Gonzales, 91, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother and friend entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents Librada Garza Gonzalez and Teofilo Gonzalez; wife Elvira Gonzalez Gonzales; sisters Guadalupe and Monserrat Gonzales. Trinidad was married to Elvira Gonzalez Gonzales from May 1953 to May 2003. He was employed by B.I.S.D as a bus driver from 1969 to 1984 and he was the owner of Gonzales Tire Repair Shop from 1982 to 2013.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Minerva (Fermin) Flores, Conrado (Lupita) Gonzales, Norma Alaniz, Frances (Pepin), Maria Rodriguez, Jose (Gloria) Gonzales, Trinidad Jr. (Frances) Gonzales, Roberto (Eleticia) Gonzales, Librada (Adolfo) Torres, Trinidad Jr. (Maria Luisa) Gonzales and Armando (Agueda) Gonzales; a sister Maria Jovita Gonzales, 45 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017 there will be a chapel service held at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
