Dusan Rysula, 68, of Brownsville, Texas loving father, brother, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest on November 9, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen. He was born in Manhattan, New York on June 3, 1949.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marie Bartko and Michael Rysula, first wife Mary Rysula and his second wife Magdalena Rysula. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Katherine Rysula, his sister Viera Rysula (Gary Lyons), sister in law Esthela Alvarado, sister in law Rosa (Doug) Farley and extended family.
He was an avid reader, bird and cat lover. He also loved talking to people. His biggest love however was riding his bicycle with the many friends he met at his bike club.
On Saturday, November 18, 2017 a celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment of cremated remains will be held on a later date in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
