Norberto R. Muñoz, Sr., 63 of Brownsville TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest Monday, Oct 9, 2017 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 29, 1954.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Alfredo Muñoz Sr. & Concepcion de la Rosa Muñoz and brother Rafael Muñoz.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Sara Muñoz, who stood by his side until he took his last breath; his children, Norberto Muñoz Jr. (Sonia), Michael Muñoz & Selena Muñoz; Grandchildren, Jacob Mathew & Ashley Evarose; Siblings Alfredo Muñoz Jr. (Rosie); Felix Muñoz (Diana), Mary M. Zapata (Amador), Jose Joaquin (Rachel), Rafael Muñoz+ (Belinda) & Pablo Muñoz (Elda Alicia).
He worked for the Cameron County Appraisal District for 22 yrs., making lifetime friends with everyone who crossed his path. A true & honest friend to all, always willing to help anyone in need. His true passions in life were his children, grandchildren, hunting and fishing.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2017, from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the family.
