Moises “Moy” Villalpando


Moises “Moy†Villalpando, 47, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Brownsville, TX on Nov. 22, 1969.

He is preceded in death by his son Moises “Baby Moy†Villalpando Jr; and his parents Jaime & Martha Villalpando. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Audra Villalpando; children Emilo Jr., Vanessa Marie Perez, Mia Brianna, Toni Lynn and James Marc Villalpando; granddaughter Leighna Marie Perez; siblings Manuel (Amelia), Daniel (Norma), Sal (Angie), and Aimee (Orlando) Villalpando. Also surviving numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Moy was well known to all as a kind, caring, fun filled man with a great heart. His family was everything to him. He was a father figure to many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.

    To the Villalpando family I am so sorry for your loss evendough I never met moy but he worked just blocks from my residence.Moys brother Sal is a good friend of mine and one of my sons knows and graduated with Vanessa at Hanna,class of 2009,Since vanessas accident I being praying for her at church and home for her full recovery.Again godbless take care and if some family member reads this I am ready to help if if you need to make a fundraiser I can get you the place and help with things.Ask for Frank Galindo at 956-542-65-67.
