Jose A. Garza, 74, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Harlingen Medical Center surrounded by loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents Hilario and Petra Garza; brothers Hilario Garza Jr., Arturo Garza and his sister Vangelina Garza.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Emma Garza; sons Juan Jose (Pearl) Garza, Armando (Sonya) Garza; daughters, Carol Ann (Daniel) Peralez, Cynthia “Cyndi†Garza, and Erika Garza; grandchildren, Delmar J. “DJâ€, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Armando Noah, Chelsea, Alyssa, Allan, Mackenzie, Benito “Maxâ€, Erik and Emma Nicole; siblings Ramiro (Ida) Garza, Celestino (Maria) Garza, Faustino (Angelita) Garza, and Ernesto (Lupe) Garza; 1 sister Julia (Manuel+) Cortez; sister in law Maria Ortiz Garza, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the end of the funeral mass.
