Carlos “Cacho†Jaime González 1942 – 2017
Carlos was born in Monterrey, Mexico to Hector and Magdalena Gonzalez on June 19, 1942 and passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Brownsville.
Carlos married Gloria Ann Ramirez of McAllen and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. Together they owned and operated Gloria’s Artificial Flowers for over 35 years. He is survived by his wife Gloria, his children Carlos Jaime, Hector Javier (Arminda), Monica Lisa, Ana Magdalena (Gabrio), Gloria Ann (Ernesto) and grandchildren Christopher, Elizabeth, Christian, Roberto Andres, Hector Alejandro, Alexia, Vanessa, Daniela, Jacob, Savannah and great grandchildren Victoria and Manuel.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at their home in Brownsville.

Dear Gloria and Family,
I was so very sad and to hear about Carlos’s sudden passing.
I will keep him in my prayers and you and your family as well. I’ve missed his smiles in the morning greeting me as he passed my office so often to visit Jesse. God bless you all.

Estimada familia Gonzalez. Mi mas sentido pesame. La muerte de un ser querido es uno de los golpes mas grandes que experimenta la familia y amigos intimos. No hay duda que durante esos tiempos tristes y dificiles, todos necesitamos consuelo. La biblia dice que nuestro creador es el “Dios de todo consuelo”. En 2 Corintios 1:4 dice que el nos consuela “para que nosotros podamos consolar a los que se hallan en cualquier clase de tribulacion”. Nos quiere tanto que nos promete una resurreccion en Juan 5:28,29. Queria compartir este mensaje de consuelo con su familia.
