Reynaldo Ramirez Sr., 65, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on May 4, 1952.
He is preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Raquel Ramirez, and a brother Ruben Ramirez. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Rosanna Ramirez; children Rey Jr., Samantha, Chris, Robert Lee; grandchildren Natalie, Cristian, Sofia, Isabella, Joseline, Chris Jr., and Nathan; siblings Irma Rios, Juventino Ramirez, and Willie Ramirez.
He retired after 38 years as a Harbormaster and was on the Board of Directors for the Port of Brownsville and served as Head Usher for Christ the King Church.
A memorial funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 09, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church. Services will conclude.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.

Estimada familia Ramirez. Nada es comparable al profundo dolor de perder a un ser querido. Se siente un vacio y una tristeza muy grande pero podemos encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia. El salmista imploro a Dios: “Sirva tu bondad amorosa por favor, para consolarme” (Sal. 119:76). Una manera muy destacada como nuestro Padre celestial nos conforta es dandonos animo y guia. El Salmo 119:105 dice que su palabra es una lampara y una luz que ilumina nuestro camino. Le animamos a encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia.
