Marco Antonio Valdez, 68, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by loving family. He was born in Reynosa, Mexico on September 14, 1948. He is preceded in death by his parents Marco Antonio Valdez Barrera and Cenobia Anderson Navarro; siblings Leopoldo Anderson; Victor Valdez, Luis Valdez, and Armando Valdez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Adela Valdez; children Margarita Briones, Libby Cortes, Marco Antonio Valdez, Blanca Anderson, Adelita Valdez Elias, Alejandro Valdez; siblings Irma Valdez Anderson, Raquel Mora, Yolanda Anderson, Pablo Flores Anderson, and Samuel Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
