Antonio “Tony” Delgado


Antonio “Tony†Delgado, 63, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Sunshine Haven Special Care Facility. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 5, 1953.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Esther Delgado; siblings Baby Norberto, Ramon Luis, and Norberto Delgado. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maria Isabel Delgado; siblings Adelina Barbosa, Rolando Delgado, and his nephews and nieces. Tony was a brilliant man who was always willing to help others. He was proud to have taught and tutored many students. He enjoyed making and fixing computers for family and friends. A devout Green Bay Packer fan since the age of 10. Tony was overjoyed watching a game at Lambeau Field a few years ago. Tony was loved for his great sense of humor and love of music.

A memorial is scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. 657 Springmart Blvd. Brownsville, TX. (956) 350-8485

    Estimada familia Delgado. Nada es comparable al profundo dolor de perder a un ser querido. Se siente un vacio y una tristeza muy grande pero podemos encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia. El salmista imploro a Dios: “Sirva tu bondad amorosa por favor, para consolarme” (Sal. 119:76). Una manera muy destacada como nuestro Padre celestial nos conforta es dandonos animo y guia. El Salmo 119:105 dice que su palabra es una lampara y una luz que ilumina nuestro camino. Le animamos a encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia.
